Caffery is also a vital part of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, where his work on their elaborate Christmas rock operas has garnered widespread acclaim. Beyond these bands, he has participated in projects like Spirits of Fire, formed Doctor Butcher with Jon Oliva, and pursued a solo career with albums such as "Faces" and "W.A.R.P.E.D."
