Title

Pulled directly from the Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive’s Boost circuit, Tilt Boost provides up to 20dB of organic level with an intuitive Tilt EQ control that simultaneously increases treble & decreases bass (or vice versa). This allows you to instantly fine tune your feel & tone. Combined with the strategic frequency choices of the independent 3-position Tight Switch, you can use one knob to add fidelity, recover body, or maintain exact control of low end build up when adding level for an authentically clean boost without bloat. A new Drive Switch allows you to engage a fat overdriven tone reminiscent of Shawn’s favorite setting on the full-sized Tilt Overdrive.

Placing Tilt Boost right after your guitar is the most powerful place to shape your tone at the source. The brightness & tightness added here will translate organically throughout your entire setup while only having to adjust one pedal. Of course, that's just the "always on" application. You can use Tilt Boost as a solo boost, a standalone overdriven tone, or anywhere else, really.

An exciting part of the Tilt Boost is the brand new Drive switch. This is reminiscent of Shawn's favorite setting on the drive side of the Tilt Overdrive, which is a fat "4x12" medium-gain sound with great mids. This means the Tilt Boost also works great as a standalone overdrive pedal, or you can dirty up your boost for a fatter sound in any application.

the technical details

The Tilt EQ is about "neutral" at 2:00. Turning left increases treble while decreasing bass, & turning right does the opposite. The 3-position Tight switch allows you to choose the amount of low end tightening independent of the Tilt EQ's setting. It's a simple but powerful all-analog pedal that runs on traditional isolated 9 volt center negative power supplies.
