The G3 isn't a standard distortion pedal; it is a fully realized analog preamp. It delivers the dynamic sag, harmonic bloom, and surgical precision of a driven high-gain tube amplifier.

 

Because the G3 contains its own distinct, powerful equalization curve designed to emulate the Generator 120, stacking it into another preamp's EQ can result in frequency clashing ("boxy" or "thin" tones).

Into The FX Loop

Skip the amp's front end and use only the power section. Plug the G3 directly into the FX Loop Return. This delivers the unadulterated Purple Channel experience with nothing layered on top.

Into An IR Loader

The G3 is the ultimate studio tool. Run it into a Two notes Torpedo or any software Impulse Response (IR) loader for a silent, flawless recording chain that keeps the analog feel.

Featuring a highly interactive 3-band hybrid equalization circuit, the G3 allows for surgical tone shaping without phase anomalies. Eliminate low noise floor with specialized PCB ground-net filtering,  reducing the need for gating.

The signature 3-position Aggression toggle physically alters the pedal's internal compression, saturation, and low-end response, giving you three distinct amplifier channels in a single enclosure.
