Sometimes only a 6x12 is going to cut it. We built custom 6x12 cabinets for hardcore heroes Comeback Kid & now we're making them available to you as a standard option. More than just maximum volume & stage presence, additional speakers help reproduce sound (especially low end) accurately & a whopping 450W power handling covers even the most over-the-top amp rigs. With the same 18mm Baltic birch construction & heavy-duty recessed handles as Revv 4x12s & 6 custom-voiced RV30 speakers, this full-sized 6x12 is a serious tone tool that's ready for anything you throw at it.

the sound

On top of higher power handling & maximum volume, a 6x12 cabinet does have a unique tone. Your signal being shared across more speakers means each one has to work less & can accurately reproduce your signal before reaching its limit. This is especially true of low end, which is why bassists love 8x10s. A big cabinet means a big sound - you'll have plenty of headroom for your fuzzes & low tunings.

Let's be honest, a 6x12 is a statement. They have a cult following for a reason. If you play loud, authentic music where the fans get a little crazy, a 6x12 not only delivers the volume to help your show transcend a simple concert - it's an important part of your backline like an album art banner or a custom resonant head for the kick drum. 

the technical details

Our 6x12 is 8Ω for compatibility with a wide range of amps & has a massive 450W power handling from 6 punchy RV30 speakers. We call it full-sized because when you order a 6x12, we're giving you a 6x12. Some other designs are sized down or use thinner cabinetry, but we wanted the same flagship tone & durability as our 4x12s, just 50% cooler. 

quality of life

The Revv 6x12 includes casters, heavy-duty recessed steel handles, & the badge illuminates & matches channel color when used with a Revv amp & lighting cable. The input jack plate is not recessed so you can easily find it from the front or in the dark. It's also easy to remove the closed-back panel in case you need access to the speakers.

Title

The 6x12 cabinet has long been an elusive & coveted tool in the arsenal of guitarists who care about maximum volume, organic live shows, & a deep connection to their fans. Genres like doom metal, post rock, & many more often rely on huge amps, cabs, & pedalboards for their sound. The gear itself is part of the experience. However, the 6x12 does offer a unique sound in addition to maximum volume. Similar to bass players' love of refrigerator cabinets, more speakers sharing the signal can produce  clearer & more direct tone that especially allows for a focused low end (even with your bass knob on 11 & 3-5 fuzzes). Comeback Kid asked us for 6x12s for their powerhouse live shows & we were both happy to oblige their request & also make it available to you.
