Great match with g4 anniversary!!

The G2 and G3 are truly amazing, and I haven't had a chance to try the G4 yet. I've been out of town. A guy in a mini van dropped them on my porch 4 or 5 days before DHL said they would be delivered, which was great! DHL didn't register that for several days, so I had them for bit before tracking said they were delivered. I ordered a Tilt Boost from Gear Nuts at the same time (Nov 23) and it was just delivered yesterday (Dec 9). UPS just doesn't get it done anymore. It seems everything they carry gets delayed these days.
I am convinced that if you need distortion on your board, these are the finest tools available. I don't think anything can touch the G3. It is so tight, has ridiculous levels of gain, and sounds and feels like tubes. The G2 is similar but with less gain, less compression and a more open sound and feel. Perfect for putting after a boost to have more with one step of your foot. Both pedal's eq is very powerful and allows perfect dailing in of sweet tone no matter the scenario. I recommend all three of the G series, as I'm quite sure the G4 will be just as impressive.

I just got the G3 a few days ago and I can’t stop smiling! I’m running it in front of a Friedman IR-J and a Synergy Freyette Deliverance module. It’s absolutely insane! It’s tight and chimey all at the same time. I’ll be using it in my STP tribute. It gets me as close to a Demeter preamp as possible. I’m still considering a G20 for my rig as well. You guys knocked this one out of the park. Bravo!

I’ve researched a lot about this pedal and decided to pull the trigger and buy it and it was the best decision I made. When I first got it I thought it didn’t work but then I realized that the input and output was opposite of what I’m used to but after that the pedal worked amazingly, I’ve only used it infront of the amp on the acoustic channel on my boss katana and I can recreate many of my favorite bands tones and my own from the many settings on it. Highly recommend this pedal for any distorted or over driven tones.

Tried the V2 G3.... so much better than the V1... I did a side by side and just kept going back to the V2.. Dan did a fantastic job on this one!

I’m lucky enough to have won a G20 from Revv and I’ve been non-stop thrilled with it. Now I’m in a pedal Secret Santa and I’m thinking my recipient could really dig Revv flavor. I had to try the Anniversary G3 before sending it and it is really holding up!
Only downside? Now I have the G2 and G4 on my mind . . .

I won't get into the countess distortion pedals I've owned and tried over the years. I just recently tried 2 new offerings by a name brand and was convinced that a good and usable one did'nt exist. For me anyway... Then I discovered a Shawn Tubbs video demoing the G2 and G3 pedals. I took a chance on the G3 and like it. Super high gain but very usable. It sits nicely in a mix due to the carefully sculpted mid eq. Then I got the fever.... I also ordered a G2 and a Tilt Overdrive. Thanks Revv!

Loved the First version of the G3. Amazed with the V2.
Clarity and tightness is beyond comprehension. V1 was a knife, V2 is a scalpel.
Passive pickups work very well with piano like string clarity and Fishman Fluence are the sharpest i've ever manage to make them sound
Somehow you have a lot of gain, compression and added harmonics in your sound but it doesn't sound buzzy or noisy in the top end like every distortion ever. It's like all that chaos was filtered out directly from the pedal and your amp only gets a "clean" harmonically rich sound.
It respond very well to an overdrive or a boost.
Also it's made in Canada!

The g3 has been a main staple in my board since purchased. Revv makes great products and the new anniversary edition are no exception.

I am very pleased with this anniversary pedal. It sounds so good. Lots of various settings to explore with killer sounds. After receiving that G3 and exploring it for a week, I decided to buy the G2 anniversary. Also, that G3 works great with my Revv D25.

I have the previous version and I thought that one was one of the best amp in a box pedal but the anniversary version offers even more as far as clarity.
I’ve tried it through a Engl ironball SE and and a Boogie Filmore, it didn’t sound as good with the Filmore but that amp is finicky I probably didn’t try hard enough
It sounded great through the the Engl but that was redundant so I’m going to try it with a Blackstar amp 1 power amp this weekend, I liked it so much I bought the anniversary G4 and got a Golden Ticket!
I can’t wait to see what I get!!!
Thanks Revv!

Fantastic addition to my pedal board. My primary amp is a 1977 Marshall JMP model 1987 which is 50W of growly power. I use my new Revv G3 for my solos and my amp breathes fire now. I've taken my other overdrive pedals off my board now because I don't ever need them again.
