The RV30 is a best-in-class 12" guitar speaker for cutting through the mix with punchy midrange while maintaining the core character of your amplifier. Based on an iconic vintage design, we custom-voiced the RV30 with our partners at WGS™ to remove the honky midrange & harsh icepick presence we previously had to deal with in exchange for that cutting tone heard on countless classic albums. The RV30 gives you that same cut in a dense mix while allowing you to dial your rig in a more musical way to get the sound you really want from your amplifier.  The RV30 was so well received by our artists & customers that we're making it available for individual purchase & it is also now the stock option in many Revv cabinets.

The RV30 is your go-to speaker for cutting through the mix. Based on an iconic vintage design, the RV30 is well-suited for rock & metal in a 4x12 cab but is also a speaker you can use in a 1x12 with clean amps for more midrange punch & detail. We dialed out the spiky frequencies so you can let the tone of your amp shine through instead of having to work around the 'icepick' sound of many speakers.

the technical details

The RV30 is a standard guitar speaker that will (probably) drop right into your existing cabinet.  It's 12" & its 8Ω & 16Ω options mean it will suit the vast majority of guitar rigs. It's also rated for 75W, which makes it a great choice for 2x12s with a high powered head, or even in a 1x12 when you want to make sure you always cut through the mix.

Title

Since day 1 at Revv, we've tested every amp we've designed with a traditional 4x12 cabinet with very popular speakers, in addition to our own cabs. This is so we're voicing our amps in a way that makes sense to the vast majority of guitarists. When it came time to create our dream speakers, we had to maintain that canonical 'guitar sound' we've all become accustomed to, but we also had plenty of experience with the common issues we've all encountered with those iconic designs. Basically, we didn't want to throw out what works, but fine tune the broader frequency response, address problem frequencies, & make something familiar yet improved. Like hearing in high definition. We're now offering Revv speakers for individual purchase due to the incredible response we've had from artists & customers whether they play Revv or their other beloved amps.
