Title

The RV90 is the 12" guitar speaker of choice  for accurately reproducing the sound of your amp. It's not 'flat' & harsh like many high headroom speakers & it's not small sounding like a lot of modern designs. The RV90 combines the characteristics we all look for from classic speakers with a robust design for high power handling that can take whatever you throw at it. Its open midrange, full low end, & detailed treble make it equally suited to getting a big sound out of your combo, hearing frequencies from your high gain head that most speakers hide, or combining with a midrange-voiced speaker like the RV30 for the best of both worlds. When someone isn't sure what to order, we tell them to get the RV90.

The RV90 is designed to highlight the true character of your amp without overly coloring your mids. It has a thick but defined bass & doesn't chop off too many high frequencies.  A lot of players describe it like taking a blanket off of your cab. It still has midrange punch, but its balanced frequency response supports pleasant treble & clear low end whether you're playing  clean or distorted.

The RV90 is a standard guitar speaker that will (probably) drop right into your existing cabinet.  It's 12" & its 8Ω & 16Ω options mean it will suit the vast majority of guitar rigs. Its 90W power handling is great for making your 1x12 sound huge or getting the most out of your big amps to accurately reproduce their sound. Mix with the RV30 in a 2x12 or 4x12 for the best of both worlds.

Since day 1 at Revv, we've tested every amp we've designed with a traditional 4x12 cabinet with very popular speakers, in addition to our own cabs. This is so we're voicing our amps in a way that makes sense to the vast majority of guitarists. When it came time to create our dream speakers, we had to maintain that canonical 'guitar sound' we've all become accustomed to, but we also had plenty of experience with the common issues we've all encountered with those iconic designs. Basically, we didn't want to throw out what works, but fine tune the broader frequency response, address problem frequencies, & make something familiar yet improved. Like hearing in high definition. We're now offering Revv speakers for individual purchase due to the incredible response we've had from artists & customers whether they play Revv or their other beloved amps.
